If this was another day I would probably praise this dress a little bit more but having seen Anne Hathaway’s gown that she wore to her première of “Rachel Getting Married” I don’t really feel like giving this dress much of a compliment.

Here is Keira Knightley at the première of her film The Duchess. Although she looks rather nice I just can’t get over the fact that it is more like a cocktail sort of dress than a red carpet dress and since this is her movie which she plays the main character anyway, it is a let down.

This cobalt blue dress with tufts of polka dot tulle at the neckline and hem on her super skinny frame is not bad at all actually. But it is probably also the fact that she is just way too skinny for it and then the whole thing looks dangerously fragile. I like her make-up though.

Anne Hathaway was breathtakingly stunning at the première of her film Rachel Getting Married at the Venice film festival. This strapless shimmering pale sage ruffled grey gown with asymmetric hemline is so gorgeous that I could just look at it all day, everyday. It’s been a long time since I fell in love with a red carpet dress. Her make-up is also simple and classic and so is her glossy upswept hair.

Absolutely beautiful, both the person who wore it and the gown itself.

It is mandatory now for celebrities to have their signature perfume out and if they are more famous than some others, it is also mandatory to launch new ones. It is ridiculous to a certain extent, there are far too many celeb perfumes on the shelves than I would have liked and the smell is not unique either. What is the point?

But if you care, here is Christina Aguilera at Macy’s Herald Square yesterday launching her new perfume “Insprie”

Now, it doesn’t take a geniuses to know that what she is wearing is a long top, not a dress. Christina is only about 5 foot-ish tall so imagine this dress in someone taller…

And that’s why she walked out of the event like a careful duck.

Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving Beso after a night out with friends. She looks nice and casual in black tiered sleeves shirt and boot cut jeans. What I don’t know and it probably will remain a mystery is what on earth is that long stick doing in the car she was in?

There is being outspoken and then there is being rude and let me tell you (although you can probably imagine) they are no where near the same, not even close. Lily Allen does speak her mind but does she know when to stop?

The 23-year-old, decked out in an extravagant ball gown, soon began slurring, swearing and ad-libbing - and it was only a matter of time before she had an all-too-public fall-out on stage with co-host Elton.

When she came to announce ‘…and now the most important part of the night’, Elton chipped in ‘What? Are you going to have another drink?’

She fired back: ‘F*** off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!’

The shocked audience fell silent.

A clearly rattled Elton replied ‘I could still snort you under the table’. To which she replied: ‘F*** off. I don’t know what you are talking about.’

On more than one occasion, Elton could be seen having a stern word with her in the wings between awards.

She barely made it off the stage after the awards ended - before drinking even more at the afterparty.

She certainly doesn’t help herself. That is just plain rude and she has no respect.

Sienna Miller looks nervous and uncomfortable as she leaves the Groucho club in London last night along with still-married Balthazar Getty. Sienna was not happy about having her pictures taken but clearly still very happy to be dating a married man.

I’m just saying.

Sharp-tongued comedienne Joan Rivers has found her new target and this time it is Angelina Jolie.

During an interview with GMTV she said;

“Well, I’ve worked with stupid actresses — I’ve worked with Angelina Jolie — she saw a sign that said ‘WET FLOOR’ one time, and she did!” Rivers adds, “I mean, she’s attractive, but not a bright girl — stunningly beautiful, but stupid.”

Cameron Diaz had a little me time looking truly happy while shopping at Barney’s in New York.

Here is Natalie Portman at the 65th Venice Film Festival, ‘Birdwatchers, la terra degli uomini rossi’ premiere. I don’t want to sound horrible but this black dress is just too weird to my liking. All those frills and the sheer bits and bobs that is going on in this dress is just too much and you have a look at the last picture here, can we notice a not so sophisticated tear just under her arm? I wonder, actually, if she ACTUALLY likes this dress or was it her stylist’s job?
